FleetSport was founded by Rik van Vliet in 2006. He gained a great deal of experience in the past fifteen years in the international sports marketing, communication, sponsoring, PR and media. After successfully completing his study Sport Management at the Deakin University in Melbourne Rik van Vliet held various (management) posts, among others at the ATP tennis tournament in Amersfoort (Dutch Open), Eyeworks Sport, Bureau TOP, International Tennis Federation, Koninklijke Nederlandse Lawn Tennis Bond (Royal Dutch Lawn Tennis Federation) and FilmNet/SuperSport.
In 2009 FleetSport looked after among other things the marketing, communication and media of the first ATP tournament in Belgrade (Serbia Open), property of professional tennis player Novak Djokovic and the World Cup Baseball in the Netherlands.
